Clinical Teaching Fellow in Medical Education

Job Description

This post represents an exciting opportunity to join a team of staff in Keele University’s highly rated School of Medicine.

This is a developmental post to support and implement the delivery of the undergraduate curriculum and to provide an opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in the field of Medical Education. You will be responsible for a significant amount of teaching, mainly but not exclusively in clinical and communication skills and PBL, contribute to assessments and participate in student selection, mentoring and appraisal.

During the period of appointment, you will be expected to complete the Keele Certificate in Medical Education.

You will possess a Medical Degree, be fully registered with the General Medical Council and have a licence to practise. You will have evidence of interest in teaching, good IT skills and the ability to engage the interest and enthusiasm of students. Effective communication, interpersonal and organisational skills are essential.
