The Sales Manager, Sales for EMEA  primary purpose is to manage the sales process through their team, including driving sales, helping to execute deals and the delivery of budget expectations. The position will maximise the value of ITVSGE’s catalogue of programming.


The candidate will be knowledgeable in the relevant EMEA markets and be able to identify potential opportunities across finished sales, formats and drama coproductions / pre-sales. This individual will diplomatically and sensitively represent ITVSGE’s interests in the market. The candidate will have a direct impact on generating revenues across all distribution platforms, accessing talent to pitch projects early, and understanding the market dynamics.


In particular, the position will be responsible for the following:


  • Work with SVP to strategize, forecast and exceed annual sales targets

  • Work with management to set and achieve the sales strategy for the region, including windowing and growth initiatives

  • Identify new business opportunities and develop long-term, high value partnerships

  • In conjunction with SVP ensure that key accounts are handled in an appropriate and effective way

  • Negotiate deal terms and conditions which maximize return and profitability to GE Plan for all genres of programming including formats

  • Forecast estimated sales projections for new titles under consideration

  • Prepare for and participate in regular sales tracking meetings

  • Oversee the work of Sales & Contracts Coordinator, ensuring that each territory is supported in the most appropriate way

  • Provide and present market context information when required

  • Regular travel and attendance of international markets


The ideal candidate must be an experienced Sales Executive with extensive experience of working in an international TV sales team. You must be able to have first hand knowledge of some Eastern European Territories, experience in scripted and/or non scripted formats.


It is essential for you to be able to prioritise work-­load in order to maximise income coupled with  strong attention to detail, excellent planning and coordinating skills.
