The School of Health and Social Care is seeking to recruit energetic and enthusiastic academic staff for the above posts to further develop and deliver flexible, innovative and current pre-registration nursing programmes to strengthen a ‘Culture of Care’ in Nursing. The nursing undergraduate portfolio includes: BSc(Hons) Nursing-Adult, Nursing Associate and Assistant Practitioner. This offers an exciting opportunity for you to be involved in moving the School forward with its strategic plan to deliver a sustainable nursing workforce for Gloucestershire in collaboration with Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, 2Gether Trust, Gloucestershire Care Services and Gloucestershire CCG.

You will need a strong clinical background and evidence of delivering pre-registration nurse education. As a member of a rapidly growing nursing team you will work closely with the Academic Subject Leader and our collaborative partners to deliver the vision for nurse education and care in Gloucestershire.

Experience of previous undertaking course delivery, development of pre-registration nursing responsibilities and substantial experience of teaching will be considered an advantage. An enthusiasm to embrace change, work as part of the innovative nursing team and become involved in the growing research profile of the school is essential.
