Department: Criminal Justice Support

Job Type: Volunteer

Cheshire Constabulary was founded in 1857 and is now responsible for policing nearly a million people. There are approximately 2,081 regular Police Officers, 220 Police Community Support Officers and 1,464 civilian Police Staff.

Description
Act as critical friends and review Cheshire victim services and criminal justice agencies policies and practices from the point of view of the victim

Experience and Qualifications required:
Must have been a victim of crime in the last 3 years from the crime type ‘volume crime’.
Possess excellent communication and inter personal skills.
Available to attend meetings at Cheshire Constabulary HQ, Winsford.
Volunteers must live and/or work within the Cheshire Constabulary geographical footprint.
Volunteers must be willing to attend at least 2 meetings per year.
