Active Bystander

Wednesday, August 16, 2023 Online event

Most people don’t go head on into having challenging conversations, and there’s understandable reasons for it. There is an emotional toll, a fear of how people might respond, as well as knowing whether it’s our responsibility to deal with it or not.

In this webinar we’ll consider what it means to be an active bystander and the impact active bystanders can have on inclusive environments. We’ll also look at ways in which we can challenge discriminatory behaviour, how to step in and some top tips for good practice.

This webinar is hosted by Sean Childerley, I&D expert from Inclusive Employers.

Making a real and impactful difference is central to Sean’s career. He has worked in diverse and demanding roles over two decades, spanning the changing landscape of media and the evolution of Inclusion and Diversity. Find out more about Sean.
