COBIS Inclusion & Belonging Conference 2025

Tuesday, November 18, 2025 - Wednesday, November 19, 2025 Online (Virtual Conference)

The COBIS Inclusion & Belonging Conference 2025 is a two-day international virtual event dedicated to exploring the future of diversity, equity, inclusion, justice, and belonging in education. Organised by the Council of British International Schools (COBIS), it brings together school leaders, teachers, DEI officers, and education policymakers from across the UK and abroad.

This year’s theme — “From Awareness to Action” — focuses on how institutions can move beyond performative inclusion to implement meaningful systemic change. Attendees will gain practical insights into embedding equity into school culture, curriculum, recruitment, and staff wellbeing.

Over the course of two immersive days, delegates will hear keynote presentations from global education leaders, participate in interactive workshops, and share best practice with peers. Topics include inclusive hiring in international schools, supporting neurodiverse students, tackling unconscious bias, and promoting belonging across diverse communities.

The conference’s virtual format removes geographical and cost barriers, enabling participation from educators and advocates worldwide. Attendees will have access to live sessions, on-demand recordings, and collaborative discussion boards.

For schools and HR professionals, the event offers strategies to make recruitment and retention practices more equitable. For educators, it provides a global perspective on inclusion and belonging that can be immediately applied in classrooms. Ultimately, the conference champions an ethos of collective learning and shared accountability — ensuring every school can be a place where every learner belongs.
