Equity, Diversity and Inclusion within Sport/Physical Activity Seminar

Glasgow House will host a seminar open to those with an interest in equity, diversity and inclusion within sport/physical activity

A key feature of UCI Cycling World Championships 2023, Glasgow House will be a hub for Glasgow and Scottish firms, city stakeholders and community groups to take centre stage and highlight the contribution made by the people of Glasgow to the city, as well as promote the city to international guests.

Join us as we welcome representatives from community groups, organisations and clubs from across the city to discuss key issues relating to participation in and access to sport, and to network and provide an opportunity for collaboration.

The session will take the form of a conversation café with 4 key EDI related questions being discussed and hear from panel experts sharing their experiences of:

• Barriers and enablers for access
• Inclusion within decision making and ability to hear the voices of all our communities
• Making our organisations more attractive places to work and volunteer
• Fostering and maintaining a positive environment of belonging and support

Please note: Places for this event are limited with a maximum of two per organisation and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Once all places have been allocated, we will operate a waiting list and will be in touch should a place become available.
