IWD 2023: Supporting Women to Thrive in the Workplace

Wednesday, March 8, 2023

International Women’s Day is still a very needed awareness date and celebration. Equality has not yet been reached, and in the workplace this can be seen at many junctions – the pay gap, women occupying fewer senior positions, bias in recruitment, women leaving the workforce due to poor flexible working options that fit with the needs of their lives. To change this, we need to be effective allies to women in the workplace, to address the barriers and take steps to evolve the workplace to make space for women to excel in their careers.

What will you learn

  • An intersectional look at what barriers are currently facing women in the workplace and why? (incl. Covid)
  • How do we ally and create opportunities for women to succeed in the workplace? What steps do organisations need to take?
  • Workplace examples of allyship and thriving women in the workplace

Who is this for?

  • Inclusion and diversity professionals
  • HR business partners
  • HR managers
  • Line managers
  • Anyone with an interest in learning more about how to promote I&D work in your organisation
