We are looking for a Caseworker to join our integration team and support Afghan new arrivals in bridging hotels.
Groundwork delivers a series of innovative social integration programmes focused on supporting migrants and refugees integrate into life in the UK, through a programme of holistic activities including, language, employment support and cultural/community activities.
As a Caseworker, you will be allocated specifically to Bridging hotels, and will be responsible for intensive casework, supporting Afghans new arrivals. The Caseworker will offer one-to-one support (in-person and over the phone), including support in navigating services and advocating on behalf of Afghan Nationals. The postholder will work alongside our wider integration team to ensure all service users receive the support they require.
Lived experience is particularly desirable for this role with Afghan languages such as Pashto/Farsi/Dari considered a big advantage.
Location: Based in bridging hotels in London / Groundwork Waterloo office
Hours: 37.5 per week
