We are offering a 3 month paid internship working in theCommunications team supporting the Barbican’s international Theatre and Danceprogramme.
The internship is a unique opportunity to learn aboutCommunications in the arts. You will get hands-on experience by monitoring anddistributing media coverage, helping to run photo-calls and distributephotographs, answering journalists’ enquiries by phone and email, as well aslearning the nuts and bolts of running a busy Communications office byproviding administrative support for the Communications team.
You will be specifically working on the 2020 Theatre andDance programme, which includes productions as part of our 2020 season InsideOut as well as preparing for the next Theatre and Dance season launch in the spring.
The 3 month internship will start on Mon 13 Jan 2020 for 4days per week, and working hours are 10am to 6pm. Attending press nights isencouraged and time off in lieu is given for evening work.
