Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a new Hospital Executive team and steer key changes for the Hospital and the Borough.
Newham University Hospital is part of the Barts Health Group and serves the most diverse and youngest boroughs in London . The hospital provides local acute services including Emergency Services and has the largest maternity unit in Barts Health. Our ambition is to build the hospital, better tailor services to local need and to deliver care which we are consistently proud of.
The successful applicant would be responsible as the lead Director for the development and implementation of Newham Hospital’s strategy, planning, integration and strategic partnerships. Therefore experience in building and maintaining strong partnerships with statutory, Primary Care, and third sector organisations is vital for the role.

We are seeking someone with a proven record of achievement as a leader that demonstrates significant success through innovations and a strong but sensitive style that contributes directly to the patient experience and continuous improvement journey
In particular, you must be able to lead, direct, inspire and engage using a collaborative style, be committed to living our Barts Health values, and have the interests of our patients and staff at the centre of all that we do.
