The successful candidates will join the thriving and innovative Department of Chemistry & Forensic Science which is responsible for teaching and research in chemistry and forensic science at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Working during the academic year, and under the direction of the Head of Chemistry & Forensics, you will deliver high quality teaching and learning to undergraduate and/or postgraduate students and will be paid on an hourly basis. Duties will include the preparation, delivery, and marking of student work where required. You will be expected to run seminars/workshops or laboratory classes face to face with some opportunities to deliver lectures. On-line learning and assessment is also currently in use on our courses.
You will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to communicate ideas effectively using a variety of teaching methods and have detailed knowledge of the particular subject area. The successful applicant must demonstrate commitment to teaching to students within our programmes at FdSc, BSc, and Masters levels.

Please note that these are not full-time positions and will be paid by the hour for teaching preparation and delivery and may not involve working on a regular daily or weekly basis.
