Infrastructure Engineer (Security Administration)

Job Description
It is an exciting time for HM Land Registry as we embark on a major transformation programme. HMLR’s ambition is to become the world’s leading land registry for speed, simplicity and an open approach to data. We are now looking for an Infrastructure Engineer (Security Administration) to join our Digital, Data and Technology team to help us to achieve this.

The role

We are looking for talented and tenacious people to join our Security Administration team, the team deliver a range of activities to support the deliver and maintenance of HM Land Registry’s security systems. They provide support to over 3500 internal users and hundreds of thousands of external digital portal customers.

The person

The successful candidate will already have experience in server administration, PowerShell (or equivalent) and the patching and maintenance of server systems. You will be expected to plan and prioritise your own work load and work effectively as part of a team. You will have good communication skills and can demonstrate a logical analytical approach to problem solving and the initiative and determination to complete tasks.

The Digital, Data and Technology Directorate is the in-house IT division for HMLR. We are currently recruiting several roles to ensure the directorate’s teams contain the right blend of skills, experience and knowledge to take our major transformation programme forward. These teams are at the heart of the move to a digital, data-driven organisation with the ambition to provide our customers with cutting-edge digital services.

Qualifications

• Holds a qualification in Information Technology or a related area (Degree Level or equivalent) or experience in an IT field.
