Job Description

You will manage the office administration and customer liaison functionfor Tremough Innovation Centre, Penryn in Cornwall. This will primarily involvemanaging those administrative tasks normally associated with running a multioccupied business facility. These tasks include but are not limited to financecontrol and invoicing, processing supplier invoices for payment, suppliermanagement and managing Customer Agreements and contracts.

You will support the Cornwall Innovation Centres Manager in the datacollection and preparation of reports, occupancy trends and other documentationrequired in order to ensure the accurate presentation of information necessaryfor the reporting requirements of the University, the Strategy Board, fundingbodies and key stakeholders / partners.

You will be responsible for overseeing the induction of InnovationCentre customers to the office environment, including setting up IT accounts,ID card access, printer access, phone access, providing starter informationpacks and other appropriate duties. You will be responsible for theco-ordination of the availability and presentation of the Innovation Centreworkstations/office space, respond to customer queries and take appropriatesteps to ensure these are dealt with in a timely manner.

Responsible for maintaining day-to-day office needs such as stocks ofstationery and publicity material, checking incoming post and maintainingkitchen supplies. To deal with correspondence, enquiries, and emails, makingdecisions within broad and varying frameworks, as to the required action,managing this action when necessary e.g. drafting correspondence. To superviseInnovation Centre front of house staff as required to ensure efficient Centreoperation and cover the Innovation Centre receptions as necessary.

You will be able to demonstrate high levels of customer service eitherin an existing or previous role

This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week, andis fixed-term to cover a period of maternity leave, which is anticipated to befor approximately 10 months.
