Institution Support IT Analyst

Job Description

The University Information Services (UIS) is offering a secondment opportunity for the role of Institution Support IT Analyst to provide contracted IT support to departments, colleges and other organisations within the University as part of the UIS’s Institution Support Service.
The role holder is expected to be educated to degree level or equivalent with experience in providing IT support within one of more institution within the university. Capable of working on their own or in a team, the role-holder will be familiar with a broad range of operating systems (Microsoft, Mac OS X and Linux), application software, hardware, peripherals and networking. As well as having excellent problem-analysis/solving and interpersonal skills, he/she will be experienced in advising others on relevant IT-related matters and coordinating IT activities at a particular institution

It is intended that interviews will be held on Thursday 25th July .
Temporary cover: This post is fixed-term for 10 months or the return of the post holder, whichever is the earlier.
