Internal Communications Officer

We are looking for an Internal Communications Officer to provide specialist professional internal communication skills and advice to support HM Land Registry’s overarching communication strategy.  You will be involved in the planning, managing, delivery and evaluation of internal communications campaigns, and have the opportunity to work with staff across the organisation.

Job description

As Internal Communications Officer you will design and deliver Internal communication plans and campaigns to support HM Land Registry’s strategic objectives.

You will support the delivery of our employee engagement and cultural development activity, delivering internal communication content across a range of channels, ensuring products are delivered to a high quality. 

You will work in partnership with all parts of the organisation, to design and deliver OASIS communication campaigns, and ensure a cohesive approach to communications.

You will provide strategic comms advice, develop two-way comms channels and work to continuously improve the internal communications function, implementing best practice and playing an active role in wider corporate communications development and planning activity.

Person specification

To be successful in this role you will have experience of creative and innovative internal communication approaches, and the ability to write clearly and concisely. 

You will have a good understanding of the range of employee insight sources (both quantitative and qualitative) available within an organisation.

You will have a practical understanding of organisational functions, roles and communication requirements, to enable the design of contextualised and tailored content for internal audiences.

You will have experience of advising, analysing and supporting the implementation of feedback mechanisms (quantitative and qualitative), along with the ability to manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines, demonstrating excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.

Where an individual taking up the responsibility will be based in our Swansea Office, the ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
