We are looking for new, enthusiastic staff with a “can do attitude” to join the exciting and rapidly expanding Department of Games and Visual Effects, within The School of Computing and Digital Technologies.

You would be expected to engage with enterprise activity, as well as developing your individual research and university research profiles. You will also be expected to contribute to engagement with schools, colleges and recruitment activities. We ensure the success of our courses through constant meaningful collaboration with the games industry, which you will be a part of.

We are looking for an experienced candidate in Games Programming who have demonstrable excellence in

  • C++ and C#
  • Games Engines Unity and UE4 or UE4 C++
  • Has a strong Maths background
  • Multiplayer Games Programming or issues involved developing for multiple platforms / cross platforms
  • Either with experience of working in / managing the business side of games development or Graphics programming experience in 2D and 3D

Candidates for this job must have Games Industry Experience or a PhD in a related subject.
