Job Description

We are now looking for a Maintenance Engineer to work a 4on 4off shift pattern (4 days on 4days off, 4 nights on 4 nights off) for a base salary of 45361 - with overtime earnings could be 50000 and upwards.

(Both electrical and mechanical engineers considered. If you have no electrical certifications then the company can put the willing candidate through electrical training)

Overtime rates: 1.5

Pay: up to 45361 + overtime = earnings of 50000 and upwards

Shift: 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am 4on 4off

Overview:

Working for a large manufacturing business that have sites across the UK and Europe we now require a maintenance engineer to join the team.

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:

To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.

Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns

PPM's

The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

Time served apprenticeship

Strong Maintenance background, working within automated manufacturing/production environment or similar

Electrical certifications beneficial however training available

Educated in a relevant engineering discipline - City and Guilds/NVQ level 3/HNC/HND etc.

Commutable from: Sutton-in-Ashfield, Mansfield, Alfreton and surrounding areas.
