Nursery Secretary
Corstorphine Primary School Nursery

Salary: £25,322 - £27,727 (pro-rata for part-time)
Hours: 18 per week, 52 weeks

Working pattern: Negotiable but must include working on a Monday

Corstorphine Primary School Nursery is looking for an experienced individual to join our talented Nursery team as a Secretary. The successful candidate will work in close partnership with the Senior Early Years Officer team.

Passionate about the ongoing success of Corstorphine Primary our SLT consists of a Head Teacher, two Depute Head Teachers, three Principal Teachers and a Business Manager. At the heart of Corstorphine village, we aspire to equip everyone with the tools they need to thrive.

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check.  Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.

Requirements

The successful candidate will provide a wide range of administrative, clerical, secretarial and general office support services to the Head Teacher and SEYO team. Among other duties, they will also update and maintain all aspects of the school's computerised administration system (SEEMIS).
