Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic senior audiologist to join our friendly, dedicated team based at The Vicarage Lane and West Ham Lane Health Centres in Stratford. The post will involve working at Vicarage Lane, Newham Hospital Adults and West Ham Lane Paediatrics

You must have experience in both paediatric and adults although the post is predominately adults with one day a week in paediatrics.. You must have either a BSc in Audiology, MSc in Audiological Science with clinical competency (or equivalent). At least two years’ experience, post qualification is expected. You should be registered with RCCP, or be registered/working towards registration as a clinical scientist with HPC.

About the service:
The post-holder would also be part of the wider audiology team, a service of just over 80 diverse staff (including screeners), within the forward-thinking Community Health Services Directorate of Barts Health working across Newham, Tower Hamlets, City and Hackney, Waltham Forest & Redbridge. We are active in service and personal development, providing teaching and training at all levels. We are an accredited training centre for the CAC (adults only at present), HCC (Paediatric assessment and Vestibular assessment and rehab) and all elements of the BSc/MSc clinical training placements.
