Senior Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity within The Machining Group for a Senior Maintenance Engineer to join our team.

You will have the opportunity to both manage and carryout maintenance on a variety of equipment and
machinery, ensuring that we adhere to all relevant Safety and Environmental legal requirements and aid us in
maintaining our current BSI accreditations.

Through providing essential maintenance support to the group and preventing down time, you will be helping to ensure our reputation here at the AMRC as being one of the UK’s leading research centres.
Working alongside the Workshop Manager, you will play a key role in the development of the maintenance schedule and create defined maintenance KPI’s for the group.

For this role, we are seeking candidates with experience within a manufacturing environment, with an electrical bias and relevant qualifications alongside a time served apprenticeship. Although infrequent, you may be required to perform some out of hours working due to business needs to prevent delays to project work.
