Senior Planning Analyst

Job Description

Northumbria is a modern research-intensive university with a global reputation for academic excellence. The External Returns Team, within Strategic Planning and Performance, ensure that income streams, league table measures and key performance indicators are optimised in data returns and reports to OfS, HESA, HEE, DfE and other external bodies.

You will coordinate, develop, and assure all processes leading to the accurate and timely compilation of each return, applying your working knowledge of current Higher Education returns, funding and regulatory issues.

Key returns include HESA Student, Staff, Aggregate Offshore and HE-BCI; OfS HESES, Annual Finance Return; ESFA (degree apprenticeships); HEE (Nursing/ Health related student and placements) and DfE (ITT).

You will be highly numerate, with excellent analytical capabilities and strong communication skills, delivering a high-quality external reporting service to internal and external customers.
