As our Social Value Coordinator, you’ll bring Stadler’s Social Value Strategy to life across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, delivering across Belfast; Lisburn and Castlereagh; Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon; Newry, Mourne and Down; Louth; Meath; Fingal and Dublin. In this role, you’ll ensure our initiatives align closely with customer priorities while tracking, evaluating and reporting the value we deliver. Your work will shape meaningful outcomes for people, communities and the environment and showcase Stadler’s commitment to responsible growth. You’ll build strong, purposeful partnerships that drive real impact across our four key pillars: Employee Empowerment, Community Impact, Environmental Responsibility and Responsible Sourcing.
You’ll lead day‑to‑day engagement with community organisations, our customer and internal teams to ensure we deliver on our social value commitments. You’ll coordinate activity, build strong relationships and keep everyone aligned toward shared goals. You’ll take ownership of delivering our social value strategy and stakeholder engagement plans, ensuring they are implemented effectively and reflect the needs of the communities we serve.
A key part of the role is measuring and reporting the impact of our work. You’ll track progress against commitments, produce clear and meaningful reports, and create project‑specific case studies that demonstrate real outcomes. You’ll also develop partnerships with local schools and charitable organisations, creating opportunities that support skills, learning and community wellbeing. To ensure continuous improvement, you’ll assess the effectiveness of our partnerships and help shape the future of our social value offering based on evidence and insight. In addition, you’ll engage with and support supply chain partners — including SMEs and VCSEs — helping them contribute to our social value ambitions and grow sustainably alongside us.
Essential Criteria: Passionate about delivering Social Value to our people, communities and environment, proactive, self-motivated, and solution-focused and effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft packages including Excel and Word, good analytical skills, with an ability to develop innovative solutions and strong organisation and project management skills. Willing to travel between Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, and to UK sites and committed to further professional development.
Desirable Criteria: Experience in project coordination, community engagement or third sector roles. Politically astute, with a base understanding of key topics (social value, local needs analysis, materiality assessments). Batchelor's Degree.
