Sport Facilities Manager

Job Description

Northumbria Sport is seeking to appoint a dynamic and highly motivated Sport Facilities Manager to manage and develop the University Sport Facilities. Sitting within the Sport Leadership Team, alongside the Head of Sport and the Student Sport Manager, you will make key contributions towards to the delivery of the Sport Strategy. You will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation of multiple facilities and will provide strong leadership to the teams within that area including operations/lifeguards, events, grounds and health and Fitness. You will ensure efficient financial management of the Sport Facilities budgets with a focus on income generation via fitness memberships and facility hire, whilst always delivering an excellent service to all customers. At Northumbria Sport we strive to continually improve, our facilities are rated Excellent by Quest and this summer will see us increasing our portfolio as we add another 3G pitch. A proactive and positive can-do attitude is essential as is swimming pool management.

This is a permanent, full-time role at 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday with occasional evening and weekend working.
