The School requires a well-qualified, dedicated and enthusiastic person for the post of Technology Technician to work 33 hours per week in term time plus 15 days during the school holidays. Proven experience of working in a workshop is essential as is practical knowledge of the equipment used in a school Technology workshop. Experience of CAD/CAM machinery would be an advantage (training will be provided on the specific machines). An effective communicator who recognises the value of good record keeping is essential. Technology, Engineering and Design is taught as part of a carousel from Year 7-9 and it is a popular subject at GCSE and A Level, therefore practical experience in an educational environment would be an advantage.
