Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to use your knowledge of finance & HR/payroll functions by joining our Finance Systems team as a Training & Projects Administrator?

We are looking for someone to demonstrate their passion for change and high level engagement skills to make an impact on our training offerings and system developments.

The role holder will be responsible for improving the training offering for our financial systems and its roles. Leading all aspects of the quality of the training provided by Finance teams and providing advice and guidance on standard process and branding. Then together with our Project Accountant, you will work on a portfolio of projects coordinating changes and leading project activities with partners.

You will provide management, administration and/or subject matter expertise as well as ensure the governance in place is appropriate for the size and complexity of the projects, ensuring scope, testing and reviews are carried out.

You will require an understanding of finance activities, have experience of training and producing training materials as well as some project management experience. You will be given the chance to improve your training and project management skills through development and courses.
You will also assist the Head of Finance Systems and Change in coordinating the Systems Development Pipeline within the team to ensure it is up to date and providing accurate updates, for Executive and Leadership reporting.

You should demonstrate working with financial systems, have excellent personal skills and have the ability to work cross-functionally with colleagues at the University, alongside a hunger to improve processes.
