University Teacher in International Relations

Job Description

We’re looking for a highly motivated University Teacher with expertise in International Relations to join a dynamic and ambitious Department.

We would like to hear from you if you are working on any aspect of international relations, especially in human rights, African politics, security, violence, peace and conflict studies.

The Department of Politics and International Relations is one of the most vibrant and successful centres for teaching and research in the UK. The Department is now seeking to appoint a full-time University Teacher to enhance our teaching capacity at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. The successful candidate will have access to mentoring and support as well as time for their own research.

You will be responsible for delivering and assessing modules at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in International Relations. You will hold a PhD in International Relations .

Evidence of teaching excellence and innovations in the learning and teaching field will be essential and the applicant is expected to have experience of and enthusiasm for delivering University teaching to a high standard.
