RSPCA

Description

The RSPCA works 365 days a year, 24 hours a day rescuing all animals from all types from abuse, neglect, and injury. Our vision is a society where no animal suffers unnecessarily.  Some animals that come to us have been mistreated, kept in awful conditions or left without free access to food or water. They may arrive terrified and it's up to us to try and work out why and bring them round to trusting people again. We do this on a daily basis with a dedicated team that we're extremely proud of. The work can be tough, both physically and emotionally but very rewarding.

We are ambitious. As part of our new Strategy to 2030, we want to improve the lives of more animals in England, Wales and internationally than ever before. To achieve all our ambitions for animal welfare will require strong governance and leadership, a modern, inclusive and entrepreneurial culture and fit-for-purpose systems and processes.

We strongly believe in being an innovative, diverse, and inclusive organisation and recognise that diversity in all of our people will help achieve that purpose and our mission more effectively.

We actively encourage and seek applications from a wide diversity of candidates and in particular welcome applications from minority ethnic, black, and candidates with disabilities, who are currently under-represented at the RSPCA.
