Job Description

Primarily based at Strand Campus although you maybe be required to work at other campuses when necessary or moved for operational reasons with 1 months notice.

Provide a high level of campus based support & assistance to staff, students and visitors using AV equipment in some complex environments for teaching, lectures, conferences and events. This will be either under the direction of the AV Supervisor or by own initiative.

Install, monitor, maintain and repair technical AV equipment, systems and software in a proficient manner and it is required to have proven technical experience in an AV technical specialism with a good understanding of the technical/scientific theory.
Special requirements.

You will be required to work irregular hours covering 5 days in 6 in accordance with the needs of the role.

The Ideal candidate will have to be a team player, with strong knowledge of AV and IT skills and with excellent communication skills & customer service.

The selection process will include competency based questions, a practical exam & written exam .The written exam topics will be sent to the applicant before hand. There will be an assessment and a panel interview.
