Marketing and Communications Manager

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity in the Faculty of Science for you to lead the development and implementation of a Faculty marketing and communications strategy to support key strategic priorities.

You will work collaboratively with colleagues from across the institution to ensure coordination and alignment of marketing activity and messages. You will develop media campaigns, generate and maximise the impact of high profile research. You will also plan internal messaging and events to enhance the reach of research, impact and educational stories across the Faculty.

To be successful in this role, you will need to draw on your experience of developing and implementing communications strategies in large and complex organisations. You must have the skills to quickly build effective networks and strong working relationships with academic and professional services staff at the highest levels.

The Faculty of Science is one of the leading Science faculties within the UK and one of five faculties within the University of Sheffield.
