Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an administrative assistant within the Corporate Governance Team. The post holder will gain experience in corporate governance functions within a foundation trust. It is also an opportunity to work in a busy Chief Executive’s Office which supports the Chair, Chief Executive, the Board of Directors, the Council of Governors and members of the Trust.
Reporting to the Corporate Governance Team Leader / Deputy Trust Board Secretary, this role involves: providing secretariat support to corporate level meetings; being a point of contact for governors; supporting the elections to the Council of Governors; assisting with the update and application of various governance documents; general administrative duties including letter writing and circulating information; and providing cover for some duties carried out by the Corporate Governance Team Leader during absences.

This role requires someone who is highly organised, with a high level of communication skills (written and verbal), who has a ‘customer service’ and ‘can-do’ attitude to work, and who can work on their own initiative. The post holder will be required to work flexibly which from time-to-time may include working outside normal hours to support various events and meetings.

The Trust currently pays a non-consolidated supplement in order that all our staff receive the equivalent of the Living Wage Foundation Rate.
