Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who are looking to add a Junior Maintenance Engineer (electrically bias) to their team on a permanent basis. You'll be based in the East Kilbride area.
Hours: Monday - Friday (Dayshift 37.5 hrs)
Salary: £30K - £32.5K
Daily Duties -
- Carrying out preventative maintenance on electrical furnaces and other equipment
- Completing emergency maintenance when mechanical or electrical equipment breakdown
- Keeping a record of completed and scheduled work
- Repairing and/or replacing components and ensuring machinery functionality
- Checking inspection equipment is working correctly and safely
Candidate Requirements -
- Electrical Engineering qualification or apprenticeship
- 1 or 2 years' experience within a similar maintenance/repair role
- Sound knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- Keen to learn and develop with training provided
- Driving Licence
