This interactive session, run by Joel Collier from the CU Impact & Engagement team, will discuss Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion in all areas of research impact. In this two-hour session you can learn about EDI considerations from hiring staff and working with communities to removing biases when reviewing projects.

By embedding equality, diversity and inclusion in all we do, we can maximise the impact of our research and innovation to involve and benefit all parts of society. Everything we fund must embrace a diversity of thought, people and ideas. We are exploring ways to encourage inclusivity in the way we design research and innovation and, in line with our mission, how we bring together diverse and dynamic teams.

The training will provide you advice and will allow working with us to identify and prioritise areas where we can make most progress in EDI within your specific project.
