Job Description

This newly created and technically focused Head of Technology Teams (Student Record System) role will be the leader for a multi-disciplinary technical team. A leader with a proven technology background, you will have the vision to devise strategies to continue the modernisation of our in-house Student Record system and aid in the development of team members. We have already moved the system to AWS, but the next steps require a much deeper transformation, and you will be the key to unlocking this.

Alongside the responsibility for the seamless delivery of an evolving change portfolio you will also need to be an engaging leader. The human element is vital as you will need to support team members day-to-day while introducing new ways of working including more use of cloud native development and tools.

Reporting to the CTO, you will work closely with Product teams, Senior/Executive sponsors, business leads, visionaries and other key stakeholders to apply leadership, delivery skills and insight to deliver and embed successful technology change throughout the University.
