Job Description

Are you interested in working in a vibrant research group developing the next generation of therapies for patients with osteoarthritis and back pain. Within a world leading University Medical School. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic postdoctoral researcher who has experience in mammalian cell and tissue cultures to contribute to an exciting industrial funded project exploring gene therapy approaches for osteoarthritis. You will develop an ex vivo culture model for human osteoarthritis, which will be applied to test novel mechanisms of inhibiting the pathogenesis of osteoarthritis.

You should have a PhD in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience, with expertise in mammalian cell culture, including 3D and tissue culture. You should have experience in molecular biology, histology and immunohistochemistry and secretome analysis. You should be willing to work flexibly and have excellent numeracy and communication skills, with the ability to undertake a range of research tasks and prepare reporting documentation to a high standard.
