Since its establishment in 2011, Research & Enterprise has supported growth in activity and impact such as a doubling in external bidding activity and HEBCI related income and a fivefold increase in student employability interactions. The University has changed significantly during this period and with the development and implementation of a new University Strategic Plan responding to a changing external environment (e.g. Brexit, UKRI etc.) we now have exciting opportunities to creating a new model of support for our customers.

This post holder will focus on developing, managing and implementing research information managements systems for costing and pricing of research, external grant capture, contracts and IP management as well as and supporting project completion including reporting and audit.The post holder will work closely with Planning and Business Intelligence and College support teams to ensure effective capture, analysis and reporting of all research data, with a particular focus on external income generation to inform strategic development.
