The full-time role Team Leader - Accounts Payable has become available in the Department of Finance at the University of Sheffield.
If you like to be busy, working closely with a small team and would like to make a big impact then we have a fantastic opportunity for you!
This is an interesting and challenging role dealing with all aspects of this area and leading a small team. It will involve:
• Maintaining contact and payment method details for existing University suppliers;
• Processing supplier invoices and credit notes;
• Issuing remittance advice notes to suppliers;
• Dealing with queries from suppliers as well as from University colleagues with regard to any aspect of the processing and payment of invoices.
We are a team of around ten and process over 100k invoice per year involving payments all over the world so your expertise will be in invoicing and workflow processes as well as using your outstanding customer service skills to assist our colleagues and service providers.
You will have expert knowledge of the SAP accounting package and electronic payments via banks with the ability to problem solve and communicate effectively to people at all levels.
You will have line management responsibility for three or four colleagues, providing them with support and guidance to enable them to complete their day-to-day duties.
