Job Description

HMLR is a successful, high-performing, innovative organisation. For more than 150 years HMLR has protected and guaranteed people’s land and property rights by keeping and maintaining the Land Register for England and Wales. Working to the Head of Public Sector Strategy, the role has responsibility for engaging directly with Public Sector Bodies, to assess their land registration requirements, and for developing a shared scheduled plan that will enable registration of their landholdings. You will need to be skilled in overcoming obstacles and focussed on achieving successful timely resolutions to ensure the programme remains on track. You will provide support to your colleagues and work closely with them as part of a developing and growing team.

This role is crucial to the achievement of the key milestone within H M Land Registry’s (HMLR) Comprehensive Registration Strategy relating to the registration of Public Sector landholdings, beginning with priority land by 2020, and all public land by 2025.

You will lead and manage the Public Sector Engagement Team, being accountable for its contribution to the Register Completion Service key deliverables, milestones and action plan.
